School Catering
From Kindergarten to High School
The school canteen accessible to students and LIFE School staff consists of an air-conditioned indoor room and an open wooden outdoor pavilion.
MENUS
They consist of a starter, a main course to be chosen between Western or Asian option and a dessert. In kindergarten, the main course served is Western. The portions are scalable according to the nutritional needs of the children. In addition, children can refill their chosen main course for the second times. It is also possible to get extra servings of starters and dessert if there are enough portions available.
ALLERGIES AND SPECIFIC DIETS
Allergies and specific diets are taken care of by the catering service. If needed, please contact the health service and/or school catering. No outside food may be eaten on the school premises for lunch.
The school’s internal rules apply to the canteen. It is not allowed to bring a picnic (lunch box, pizza, sandwich, …) or drinks. Students should wash their hands before each meal.
We insist on a proper attitude at the dining table. The meal should be a moment of fun and friendliness for the children.
We don’t force children to eat, but we introduce them to new flavors by encouraging them to eat fruits and vegetables.
Children must clear their trays after each meal and leave their table clean.
Registration is done at the start of the school year on a one-week time period. An email is sent out to parents so that they can do so on Eduka. For children arriving during the year, the secretary’s office will take care of their registration.
A second registration period is offered in December if changes need to be made.
Please note: on the first day of school, all students are automatically registered to the canteen.
Meal price for the 2023/2024 school year:
- Kindergarten: 58,000 rupiah
- Elementary school: 65,000 rupiah
- Middle and high school: 75,000 rupiah
- Exceptional meal: 85,000 rupiah
Any student not registered for school catering may, exceptionally, eat at the school canteen if prior request has been presented the day before to the vie scolaire office and to the school catering supervisor. The meal is then billed at the cost of the exceptional meal.
The school canteen is open from:
- 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. Monday to Thursday for TPS
- 11:45 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. Monday to Thursday for Kindergarten students
- 11:45 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. Monday to Friday for Elementary school students
- 12:50 p.m. to 13:50 p.m. Monday to Friday for Secondary school students
In order for all children to have access to the school catering, the school pays attention to food allergies and special diets.
For children with allergies, an Individualized Integration Plan (PAI) must be elaborated. Please contact the health department so they can implement this protocol as soon as possible in order for your child to be welcomed in the best conditions.
For special diets (vegetarian, halal, etc.), please send the information to the school catering office, who will take necessary measures to best respect these specificities.
